To mark European Sustainable Development Week, NOVELTY brought its teams together to take practical action combining environmental protection and social solidarity.
On the programme: a Clean Walk around our offices to protect our environment, and a fundraising drive in aid of Emmaüs and the Friends of the Workshop Foundation, to give forgotten items a new lease of life.
Clean Walk: a simple action, a tangible impact
Our teams from Novelty Paris, Grand Ouest and Nouvelle-Aquitaine took part in a group Clean Walk!
Armed with gloves and bin bags, they cleaned up the areas around our sites in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
In just a few hours, over 90 kilos of rubbish were collected!
A campaign that was both useful and eye-opening, reminding us that every little action counts when it comes to protecting our everyday environment.
Beyond its environmental impact, this initiative was a unifying experience, strengthening our sense of togetherness and pride in working together for a cleaner world.
Charity collection: giving items a new lease of life
At the same time, the Novelty AURA, Grand Ouest and Nouvelle-Aquitaine branches organised a collection of donations for Emmaus.
The Novelty Paris branch, for its part, supported both Emmaus and the Friends of the Workshop Foundation.
Clothes, books, crockery, toys, electronic equipment… Staff rallied together to give these items a new lease of life and to help people in need.
A wonderful initiative promoting environmental solidarity, combining waste reduction, reuse and mutual support.
